Ah Niu Wan Tan Mee

I am having my lunch at Ah Niu Wan Tan Mee Restaurant (阿牛云吞面专卖店) in Sungai Ara today. The noodle shop is within walking distance of Chong Cheng Primary School.

The serving of BBQ Pork Wan Tan Noodles (叉烧云吞面, RM5.00) is quite filling for me. The dish includes barbecued pork (叉烧), pork lard (猪油渣) and choy sum (菜心). The egg noodle is springy but I think the taste is not rich enough.

My meal comes with a bowl of soup with 3 pieces of wan tan (云吞). The dumplings are delightfully succulent.

Fried Dumplings (炸水饺, RM6.00) are ordered separately. The crispy dumplings are filled with minced pork and shrimps.

Lastly, Babao (八宝, RM1.40) is prepared from 8 types of herbs. The herbal tea can be served hot or iced.

Ah Niu Wan Tan Mee Restaurant also has à la carte Chinese dishes such as pork, chicken, tofu, vegetables and soup. Unfortunately, I have not tasted these dishes yet.
