Sushi Tei (すし亭) is a chain of Japanese restaurant based in Singapore. We visited the outlet in Queensbay Mall.

The dining area has a pleasant decor. Customers who enjoy sushi can be seated next to the conveyer belt. Meanwhile, the restaurant has several rooms for customers who prefer more privacy.

We ordered Curry Carbonara Pasta To Sashimi Bento (カレーカルボナーラパスタとさしみ弁当, RM24.80) from the lunch menu. The pasta is dressed with creamy sauce that has a hint of spiciness. Also included are salmon sashimi, chilled tofu (冷奴), chicken cutlet (チキンカツ), chawanmushi (茶碗蒸し) and miso soup (味噌汁).

As for Jo Unaju (上鰻重, RM32.80), unagi fillet is served with short-grain Japanese rice. The unagi is savory indeed. The dish comes in a special box called jubako (重箱).

Today’s meal at Sushi Tei is quite satisfying. I would love to taste more dishes next time. Sushi Tei has several more outlets in Gurney Plaza and Sunway Carnival Mall.
